So June didn’t exactly lend itself to a whole lot of schooling in the formal sense. We found ourselves exploring our new surroundings, spending the sunny days on the beach, and meeting new people. What we did discover is a wonderful library (actually two) in close proximity of our house. Because the thought of taking Camryn into a library is a little daunting at this stage, we came up with a plan. We take trips to the library, Peter and the kiddies play in the park that is behind the library, and I found myself grabbing a few books that I think the kiddies will enjoy. Eryn and Camryn are loving their storytimes, and every now and then we have a guest reader:
Also found a wonderful toy shop specialising in wooden toys that was having a 50% sale. My mission was to find timeless toys, toys that the kiddies will not grow out of soon. Based on the amount of fun I have had playing with them, I think our new toys are going to last.
And of course we always learn things from our outings:

Eryn reading to Camryn, and yes Camryn is running around without pants and with his sisters shoes on
And like I said we did do a bit of “school” work:
And that is how we spent our month
