A warm welcome to our new blog…

Whenever I share our days happenings to those close to me, I never seem to get the feeling that the picture I have in my head is the same picture I have shared with my listener. And hence one of the reasons for this blog.

Peter and I have decided to open up a window into our lives, so that you can catch a little glimpse of what goes on in this Marais family. Our reason for this, firstly, so that although we are far away from most of our family and friends, we will not grow apart and that our special moments can be shared with those closest to us. Secondly, to enlighten our friends and family as to what we do at our homeschool. Because our children are still very young, no formal learning taking place yet, so this will mean just lots of fun with a few teachings squeezed in. And lastly, we have created our own blog for memory keepsake so that one day our children can go through our blogs and relive the good times.
